Which schema types are there?
Eight: Breadcrumb, Collection and Product for navigation and catalog; Organization, Website and Local business for store identity; and Blog and Article for content.
What it is
The SEO schema page offers eight structured data types, grouped by what they describe:
Navigation and catalog
Breadcrumb: the path to each page, taken from the category tree you already maintain. It's output by the breadcrumb block.
Collection: your category pages and the products they list.
Product: each product page, connected to the category you arranged.
Store identity
Organization: who your store is, as one entity that your pages refer to.
Website: the site name for your domain.
Local business: a physical shop customers can visit, with address, opening hours and phone number.
Content
Blog: your blogs and the posts each one lists.
Article: each blog post, with headline, author, dates and image.
How to set it up
Open SEO schema in the app.
Read each type's description and where it appears, for example "Every product page" or "Home page".
Turn on the types that apply to your store. A store without a physical shop, for example, can leave Local business off.
Open the setup page for any type marked Needs setup and fill in its details.
Make sure the SEO schema app embed is on, and the breadcrumb block is placed for Breadcrumb schema.
Why it's useful
Each type answers a different question a search engine might ask: who runs this site, what is this page, and where does it sit in the store? Covering the right types gives search engines a complete, consistent picture of your business. Having them all in one place, each with its own switch, lets you publish exactly what fits your store without installing several separate SEO apps or editing theme code.
